Privacy policy.
Last updated: 10 May 2026
RowInsight (“RowInsight”, “we”) is currently an unincorporated personal beta operated by the project owner. No UK limited company has been registered yet. This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to anyone using the website, the API, or the enrichment app.
Beta notice. RowInsight is in private beta. The service is provided for evaluation only. Don't upload data you couldn't lose, leak, or have to re-key — we don't commit to durability or availability while in beta. Feedback welcome.
Data we collect
Account data. Your name, work email, brokerage or firm, and password hash. We use this to identify you and bill you.
Schedule data. The CSV / XLSX rows you submit, plus everything we enrich them with. Schedules are processed on UK-resident infrastructure and remain associated with your account only.
Usage data. Which endpoints you hit, when, and from where. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on either the marketing site or the app.
Support correspondence. Anything you send us by email or in the in-app chat.
How we use it
We use account data to authenticate you and bill you. We use schedule data only to deliver the enrichment you asked for — we do not train models on your schedules and we do not share them with third parties beyond the public-data sources whose APIs we query on your behalf (Companies House, EPC register, EA flood map, etc.).
We use usage data to keep the service working, debug incidents, and plan capacity.
Lawful basis
We rely on legitimate interest for B2B enrichment of public-record information about UK businesses, and on consent for marketing email. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting your account.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict our processing, or object to our processing. The fastest way is to email privacy@rowinsight.com. We aim to respond within 14 days.
If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Data retention
We keep account data for the lifetime of your account. We keep schedule data and enrichment outputs for the lifetime of your account, then purge them within 30 days of cancellation. You can request earlier deletion of any specific schedule at any time.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie (ri_session) to keep you signed in. We don't set analytics or advertising cookies. See our cookie policy for full detail.
