Terms of service.
Last updated: 10 May 2026
These terms govern your use of RowInsight. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. We've kept it short and very clearly biased toward “you accept what you get because this is a beta” — read it before signing up.
Beta — do not rely on this
RowInsight is in private beta and is provided for testing and evaluation only. Do not use the output for binding decisions, regulated processes, or anything where being wrong has a real cost. Don't upload data you'd be unhappy to have lost, leaked, or have to re-key.
We may change, break, or shut down the service at any time, with or without notice. Outputs may be incomplete, mis-classified, or out of date. The Brief is a draft starting point; it is not an underwriting decision.
Operator
RowInsight is currently operated as an unincorporated personal beta by the project owner. No UK limited company has been registered yet. Once a Ltd is incorporated, these terms will be updated to reflect the registered entity, its company number, and its registered office.
The service
RowInsight enriches business and property data submitted by you with information from public registers and third-party sources (Companies House, OFSI, EPC, EA Flood Map, Land Registry, HSE, Police.uk, OpenStreetMap, Perplexity adverse-media), then drafts a written brief. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service working, but the public sources we query are outside our control and the LLM-drafted Brief can be wrong.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you submit and for keeping your credentials secure. Don't share API keys. Don't use the service to enrich data you have no lawful right to process. Don't use it to test attacks against the third-party sources we query — they're shared public infrastructure.
Payment
The Free plan covers 10 rows per calendar month at no cost. Pricing for paid tiers is illustrative on the marketing site; we are not yet collecting payment during beta.
No warranty — strongest possible disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We make no representation that the enrichment data, scoring, or Brief output is accurate, current, complete, or fit for any underwriting, lending, KYC, AML, sanctions-screening, regulatory filing, or insurance-binding decision. Use it as a starting point for your own diligence, never as the sole basis for any decision.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RowInsight and its operator(s) accept no liability whatsoever for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service, including without limitation lost profits, lost business, missed quotes, mis-bound risks, regulatory penalties, reputational harm, lost data, or claims by third parties — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
During the beta our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at £10 (ten pounds sterling). After commercial launch this cap will be replaced by the standard “fees paid in the prior 12 months” model.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operator(s) harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) your breach of these terms, or (c) any underwriting, KYC, or commercial decision you took in reliance on RowInsight output. This is a beta — don't bet your business on it.
Third-party sources
Some sources we query (Companies House, OFSI, FCA, EPC, EA, HSE, Land Registry, Police.uk, OSM, Perplexity) have their own terms. You're responsible for using their data within those terms. We are a conduit, not a licensor of that data.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice during the beta. We'll tell you if we do, but we don't promise to.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time during the beta. Continued use after we publish updated terms constitutes acceptance.
